I’m a freelance journalist based in Montreal.

I produce and host a podcast on the global impacts of drug prohibition called Drug War Dispatches.

My radio pieces have aired on NPR, WNYC Radio, CBC, Deutsche Welle and Radio Netherlands.

My writing has been published in the Nation Magazine, on the BBC website, the Atlanta Journal Constitution, the Denver Post, the Columbia Journalism Review, the News & Observer, the Palm Beach Post, The Haitian Times and The New York City Indypendent.

I have produced podcasts for the New York Times and audio slideshows for various clients.

I graduated with honors from the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism in 2009.

That fall I travelled to Haiti where I filed stories for the Haitian Times.

I’m available for freelance radio, print and web assignments as well as podcast and audio slideshow production and tape synchs.
